1 dead, 1 critically injured and 1 charged with DUI in 2 Pinellas Park overnight crashes

Jerrica Cole, 24, of Riverview, was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

It happened around 12:45 a.m. at Lake Allen Dr. and 118th Ave.

According to investigators, Cole missed a curve on 118th Ave, directly west of Lake Allen Dr., causing her car to leave the road and hit a tree. She was taken to an area hospital where she died.

While officers were investigating that crash, they were called to another crash on the northbound entrance ramp to Bryan Dairy Road from US Highway 19. This area is under construction and the entrance ramp is lined with temporary concrete barriers on both sides of the road.

Investigators say around 2:20 a.m., a motorcycle was traveling southbound on the northbound entrance ramp to Bryan Dairy Road from US Highway 19 at the same time a car driven by Hannah Kiousis, 23, of Safety Harbor, was traveling the north on the northbound entrance ramp.

According to the PPPD, the two vehicles crashed head-on and the motorcycle operator, Robert Fallon, 22, of Port Richey, was thrown from the bike. A witness told investigators that the motorcycle was traveling in the wrong direction before the collision.

Fallon was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Investigators say Kiousis showed signs of impairment and charged her with misdemeanor DUI.
