1 dead in Tarpon Springs shooting: Police

One person is dead after a shooting along Starlight Cove in Tarpon Springs Monday evening, according to officers. 

What we know:

The Tarpon Springs Police Department said they responded at around 8 p.m. to the 1300 block of Starlight Cove after reports of the shooting

Officers said when they arrived, a person was found unresponsive and began administering first aid. The victim was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point by EMS, where he died from his injuries.

Authorities said the suspect in the shooting has not been caught. 

What we don't know:

Tarpon Springs police have not released the identity of the victim. They also haven't released details about what led to the shooting.
