Balloon lands safely in Pasco neighborhood

Residents of one Pasco County neighborhood got quite a surprise this morning when some visitors dropped in.  A hot air balloon made a surprise landing in Wesley Chapel's Westbrook Estates.

A witness told FOX 13 that the balloon operator said the wind had unexpectedly died down, preventing them from making it back to the airport for their scheduled landing.

The balloon landed safely along a street in the community, which is just west of Interstate 75 and north of the Tampa North Aero Park.  No one was hurt.

This is the second surprise balloon landing in Central Florida in the last few days.  Friday morning, a hot air balloon carrying 20 people landed alongside Interstate 4 near the Polk-Osceola line.
