The Florida Wiener Dog Derby brought dozens of dachshunds and their owners to Curtis Hixon Park Saturday.
The day-long event featured more than just dog races.
The pooches competed in contests for best kisser, best costume, and the popular tail-wagging contest.
There was also a TacoFest celebration for Cinco de Mayo during the event.
Dog owners say they love bringing their furry friends out to socialize and get a little exercise.
