PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - A New Port Richey man told deputies he was Jesus Christ before becoming aggressive and trying to kick them out of his home.
Pasco County deputies say 45-year-old Daniel John Watson said he was a carefree soul before abruptly asking them to leave.
Deputies say Watson became agitated and yelled at them before picking up a chair and throwing it toward one of them.
One deputy pulled out his Taser as Watson approached another deputy. They say Watson then threw a sandal toward the deputy with the Taser. Watson was then hit with the stun gun, detained, and taken for medical care.
He was later taken to jail, where deputies say he kept saying "random words" and yelled Bible verses.
After deputies removed Watson's handcuffs, they say he threw two punches at a detention deputy but did not make contact.
He was detained again without further incident.
