TAMPA (FOX 13) - The focus remains on Florida as the state's presidential primary inches closer.
The primary, March 15, continues to attract attention in Florida, long-considered a battleground state.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio plans two stops in the Bay Area ahead of the primary and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton has also scheduled a rally in Ybor City this week. Both candidates want to share their vision for the country and encourage residents to vote.
Rubio's first appearance takes place Monday in Tampa followed by an appearance in Sarasota Tuesday. The Republican candidate's stops come ahead of the final Republican debate before the primary, scheduled for Wednesday in Miami.
Rubio faces off against businessman Donald Trump, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
This weekend, frontrunner Trump made appearances in Miami and Orlando.
