MIAMI, Fla. - A man driving a garbage truck went off a highway bridge plunging to the ground about a hundred feet below. It happened on Interstate 95 near Little Havana in Miami Monday afternoon.
Video shows the concrete and steel barriers completely destroyed and cars damaged on the roadway below from falling debris.
Miami police and fire rescue were on scene and the driver was transported to the hospital in serious condition, WSVN reported.
"It's a miracle no one at the ground was injured, no one was at the park," Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll told WSVN.
