Handgun, jewelry stolen during Tampa home invasion

Home invasion suspects who, police say, demanded money and drugs from the homeowner, were caught in the act by surveillance cameras.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay released video of the March 3 incident. They said the suspects forced their way through the front door of a home on Yukon Street in West Tampa around 2:15 a.m.

Police said they demanded money and drugs and stole jewelry, electronics, cash and a .357 handgun before leaving in an unknown type vehicle.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay said it is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspects in this case.
