Goat yoga is magical and unwinding

Goat yoga is the hot new fitness trend and one ranch in the Tampa Bay area is holding classes to help people workout and unwind alongside baby goats.

The special yoga classes are held at Hat Trick Ranch in Thonotosassa in honor of a special little goat named "Grady."

The little goat was born with polio and is blind and deaf. His owner, Debbie Canton, has been taking care of him and was inspired to create "Grady Goat Yoga," with proceeds going to children with neurological disorders through the Grady Goat Foundation.

Canton says all of the classes sell out quickly and it's hard for her to turn people away.

But those who come to Grady Goat Yoga love the peace and serenity of the field and the woods of Hat Trick Ranch in Thonotosassa, and the cast of tiny characters that love to climb and snuggle into and during the yoga poses.

"Even if they've had issues or stress during the week, they come out here and everything gets put aside," Canton says.

Anyone wishing to attend yoga classes can sign up through the Hat Trick Ranch Facebook page.
