No bond for man charged with killing girlfriend, 10-year-old
TAMPA (FOX 13) - The suspect charged with killing his live-in girlfriend and her 10-year-old son will continue to be held in jail without bond.
Tyrone Johnson's double murder case was the focus of a court hearing Saturday morning.
Prosecutors brought detectives from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in to testify about details of the case.
Johnson is accused of fatally shooting 34-year-old Stephanie Willis and 10-year-old Ricky Willis the evening of October 21. The shooting stemmed from an argument over changing the TV channel, according to investigators.
A judge agreed with prosecutors during the hearing, saying Johnson could be a threat to the community if released. He will remain at the Hillsborough County jail without bond.
