Fire at Tampa Yacht Club destroys boats

TAMPA, Fla. - Three vessels at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club were damaged after one caught fire Friday evening, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
What we know:
Firefighters said they responded to the Tampa Yacht and Country Club just before 7:40 p.m. Crews saw heavy smoke coming from the marina when they first arrived at the scene.

The original vessel that caught fire was fully engulfed in flames that were coming from the interior cabin, according to TFR. It did spread to an adjacent vessel, and a third one had heat damage.
All boats that caught on fire were about 40-feet in length, according to TFR.
No one was on any of the three vessels, and firefighters did not report any injuries.
What we don't know:
While the fire is now under control, fire officials are now investigating what caused it.
