2 dead in early morning shooting in St. Pete, police say
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - St. Petersburg police are investigating a shooting where two men died.
The shooting occured on 33rd St. S. near Fairfield shortly after 4:30 a.m.
Police say there was an altercation between the person who fired the shots and the men who were killed. That person called police and turned himself in to authorities; he is being questioned.
The victims were later identified as Alair J. Moncrieffe, 31, and Timothy Lemar Marshall, 49.
