Book-banning committee discusses 16 'inappropriate' books in Polk schools

Sixteen books available in Polk County public schools could be banned after a group challenged them, saying they contain inappropriate material for students. The district has since formed a committee to review the books and recommend if they should be permanently banned from school libraries.
