Tropical Update: September 18, 2022
FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku is watching Fiona, which became a hurricane Sunday morning. There is a lot of rain on the north and east sides of the storm which battered the Virgin Islands and is pushing on the southern end of Puerto Rico. Hurricane warnings are up for Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Once the storm, which is expected to be a heavy rainmaker, passes over the islands, a trough will push the storm east of the United States as it gains strength in the Atlantic.
