Tropical Update: October 8, 2022
FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku is continuing to watch Tropical Storm Julia in the Caribbean. As of Saturday morning, it had top winds of 60 miles per hour and was traveling west at 21 miles per hour. He says the storm will be a big rainmaker for Central America. He believes the storm will gain hurricane strength on Saturday afternoon and will be a category 1 hurricane when it makes landfall early Sunday morning. The storm will not impact the United States. He says the next named storm will be Karl, but doesn?t see it forming any time soon.
