Veterinarians across the country are asking dog owners to be on the lookout for canine influenza, or 'dog flu.' The illness is on the rise across the country. It's very similar to how humans experience the flu. Dogs can get it from coming in contact with other dogs or touching something that the virus can sit on, such as toys or bowls.
