Saharan dust makes its way across Atlantic
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says things are fairly quiet in the tropics thanks to a wave of Saharan dust traveling off the coast of Africa. He is watching an area of low pressure off the coast of Bermuda that has a 30 percent chance of becoming a subtropical or tropical system within the next seven days. However, Weber says even if it does develop, it will stay over open water and won’t impact the United States.
