Saharan dust won’t stop potential tropical system

Fox 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is watching one area in the Atlantic that is not being impacted by Saharan dust making its way off the coast of Africa. He says that while it is still unorganized, it has a 60 percent chance of developing tropical or subtropical characteristics if the wind shear cooperates. The good news is that it will stay over open water.
