Subtropical Depression Don expected to strengthen
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is continuing to watch Subtropical Depression Don as it encounters dry Saharan air to its south. He says it is not a well-defined system and it is weakening as it deals with wind shear and cooler waters. However, Weber says it is expected to hit warmer waters with less wind shear, which means it may strengthen before weakening again. He says regardless of what it does, Subtropical Depression Don will stay over open waters.
