Tropical Storms Harold, Franklin to make landfall
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on the Gulf of Mexico as Tropical Storm Harold makes landfall in Texas. The storm, which earned a name on Tuesday morning came ashore shortly before 10 a.m. Central time with winds of 50 miles an hour. Weber is also watching Tropical Storm Franklin, which is expected to strike Hispaniola Tuesday afternoon before entering the Atlantic Ocean, where it is expected to strengthen. Though those storms won?t impact Florida, Weber is watching a disturbance near Central America that may enter the Gulf of Mexico next week and start to strengthen.
