Two tropical waves form off Africa?s coast
With the peak of hurricane season one week away, FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku is keeping his eye on the tropics. Tropical storms Gert and Katia are expected to weaken as they move into hostile environments. Tony is also watching two tropical waves that formed off the coast of Africa. One of the waves has an 80 percent chance of turning into a depression over the next seven days. Tony says it is too early to determine if it will affect Florida?s weather.
