Tropical Storm Lorenzo forms in Atlantic
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on the tropics and newly formed Tropical Storm Lorenzo, which became the 12th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season on Monday. Weber said wind shear is going to impact Lorenzo, which will inhibit its center of circulation. He said Lorenzo is expected to stay out over open water and will not impact the United States. Weber cautions that hurricane season runs through November 30 and he said there are indications that something may try to work its way into the Caribbean over the next 10 days.
