Cold front keeps tropics quiet

FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says things should stay quiet in the tropics thanks to the recent cold front. He added that there are 17 more days left in the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, which turned out to technically be below average when it comes to named storms. However, he noted that we did see more storms becoming major hurricanes. Weber added that there is no tropical formation expected over the next week.
