WATCH: Officer hilariously confronts fear of snakes

Even the toughest defenders and protectors of justice have their weak spots. For one California sheriff's deputy, it seems to be snakes. Deputy Coroner Amy Thurau, whom the Solano County Sheriff's Office describes as, "hard as nails and resilient" shuttered in fear at the sight of a snake found on a local road.
