Great Rides: WWII 1943 M3A1 Scout Car
A World War II era 1943 M3A1 Scout Car was recently restored by Cliff Moffett, who is a Zephyhills native and a Navy veteran. It was made in the U.S.,sent to Europe and the French used it during WWII. After the war, the Greeks ended up using it before it came back to U.S. in the 1980s. Moffett said it took two years for him to restore it. Today, it uses 7 miles per gallon.
