White bellbird believed to be loudest bird in the world

One bird that lives in the Amazon rainforest could be the loudest bird in the world. Scientists published a study about the male white bellbird. It competes for its mate with a pretty loud mating call. It reaches volumes of 125 decibels. In comparison, a normal human voice is less than half of that.
