There will be over 1,000 police officers for Gasparilla security

First, the kids had fun at Gasparilla and now it’s the grown-ups’ turn with the pirate invasion Saturday. Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan says his agency is ready for crowd-control and alcohol enforcement. Law enforcement officials Tampa, surrounding counties and even Orlando will be on-deck to assist.
