Driver who killed bicyclist apologizes to victim?s daughter during sentencing
Two years after Richard Sheldon hit and killed 73-years old John Dilgard, he's pleading guilty to leaving the scene of a crash with death and DUI with personal injury and property damage. In exchange, prosecutors dropped the most serious charge of DUI manslaughter. The victim?s daughter Shannon Mason listened as Sheldon apologized and was sentenced to 5 years.
