Caretakers accused of mistreating, defrauding patients

An assisted living facility nursing assistant in Sarasota was fired and arrested after detectives learned she stole credit cards from at least three residents and used them to make purchases, detectives said. And in Hillsborough County, deputies arrested a 19-year-old for allegedly abusing an 88-year-old man in his care.
