Florida Ag Commissioner Nikki Fried announces run for governor

Democrat Nikki Fried, the agriculture commissioner for the state of Florida, has announced she is running for governor. She will face Rep. Charlie Crist in the Democratic primary, and the winner of that race will then take on Republican incumbent Gov. Ron DeSantis.
