Tropics quiet in tail-end of season
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber reflects on the 2026 hurricane season so far. He says no tropical formation is expected any time soon. As we head into the tail-end of the season, Weber says it’s important to watch the Caribbean and the Gulf, which are both quiet right now. He notes that the Pacific continues to be active with Hurricane Simon and Tropical Storm Trudy.
