Hurricane season is off to a quiet start
FOX 13 Meteorologist Valerie Mills is watching the tropics, which are quiet as hurricane season gets underway. Mills says there is no tropical formation expected over the next seven days due to wind shear across the Atlantic Basin and Saharan dust over the Caribbean. She added that both NOAA and CSU are calling for a slightly below average hurricane season with El Nino starting to emerge.
