Tropical Storm Bertha expected to form in Gulf
FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on Tropical Depression Two. He said that while it is getting better organized, it is still a disorganized system. Weber said the storm is dealing with wind shear and there are obstacles in its way that is preventing it from developing quickly. However, it is expected to become Tropical Storm Bertha this week. Weber added that winds were at 35 mph around 11:30 a.m. on Monday and it was moving northwest at three miles per hour. A tropical storm watch is up from the Florida Panhandle to Louisiana.
