Tropical development possible off North Carolina
FOX 13 meteorologist Jim Weber continues to monitor the tropics as hurricane season approaches its end on Nov. 30. There are currently no signs of development in the Gulf. The only area being monitored is a nontropical low off the coast of North Carolina, which has a 40% chance of development. The system could acquire tropical characteristics over the next few days but is expected to move north into the Atlantic without making landfall.
