Crash investigators said the dump truck was heading west on CR 675, entering a curve in the road when the SUV was entering that same curve heading east.

That's when the dump truck driver drifted onto the north shoulder and over corrected to the left, crossing the road in front of the SUV, according to FHP.

The SUV's driver tried to avoid, but the dump truck hit the front of the SUV, trooper said.

The crash remains under investigation.
