TAMPA, Fla. - A woman and child were critically injured and two others were taken to the hospital after a crash in the eastbound lanes of Hillsborough Avenue Tuesday evening.
Tampa police had to close the eastbound side of the roadway to investigate the crash.
Investigators say it appears a vehicle headed west on Hillsborough Ave. crossed the median and then hit a car and SUV.
E. Hillsborough Ave. was closed between N. 34th St and N. 40th St.
