Maritime defense tech hub opening in St. Pete

Dan Matics reports

Another technology hub is coming to St. Pete’s innovation district.

A vacant building on the city’s waterfront, next to the U.S. Coast Guard station, is about to become the St. Petersburg Maritime Defense Tech Hub.

Inside, several businesses from the defense sector will collaborate together.

Alison Barlow, director of St. Pete’s innovation district, says this is another example of more tech jobs coming to the city.
