Florida Missing Child Alert canceled after 7-year-old girl from Palmetto found safe

PALMETTO, Fla. - A statewide Missing Child Alert for a 7-year-old girl from Palmetto has been canceled after the child was found safe.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the alert on Jan. 7, then followed it hours later with an AMBER Alert. 

However, they canceled both alerts after the girl was found. No other details were provided.
