Trader Joe’s opens Palm Harbor store this week
PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Trader Joe’s fans will soon have a new location in the Bay Area to stock up on cookie butter and Two-Buck Chuck.
The grocery store’s Palm Harbor site will open on Thursday, December 12 at 9 a.m.
The new store is in the Highland Lakes Plaza at 33597 US Hwy 19 N., which is just before the intersection of Nebraska Ave. It will be the northernmost location in the Bay Area.
Trader Joe’s will hire 65 new employees from the surrounding areas and transfer others from neighboring Trader Joe’s locations. Click here for information on applying.

The supermarket says that in addition to the company’s ‘Neighborhood Shares Program’, the new Palm Harbor Trader Joe’s will donate 100% of products that aren’t sold, but are still in good condition, to non-profit, community-based organizations.
The Palm Harbor supermarket will be Trader Joe’s third location in the Bay Area.
The other two stores are in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
