Warrant issued for driver involved in deadly hit-and-run
GIBSONTON, Fla. - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has issued a warrant for the arrest of a person believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday night.
Investigators say around 7:30 p.m., a white sedan turning left on Symmes Road in Gibsonton collided with a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Isaiah Raposa, 18, died at the hospital.

Officials say the driver of the sedan that took off has been identified as Jonathan Saldana Rojas, 27.

Saldana Rojas is currently wanted on charges of leaving the scene of a crash with death and no valid driver’s license.
"Every life lost on our roads is a tragedy, and in this case, the victim's life was taken far too soon," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Now that we know the name of the driver responsible for this fatal hit-and-run, our focus is on locating him. I urge anyone who has information about his whereabouts to come forward. Your help is critical in ensuring justice is served and bringing closure to the victim's family."
