Polk County’s newest attraction is dinner theater like few have seen before.

The performances are intense and range in styles - from WWE to lucha libre. At Manor Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater, you get to munch while guys in the ring get crunched.

The theater on Cypress Gardens Boulevard, across from LEGOLAND, is open for dinner and ready to serve an experience like no other.

“It is just exciting to show people a comic book world brought to life,” Luis Matos told FOX 13.

Matos co-owns the production. He and his business partner are both former wrestlers.

They have created a world of fantasy where battles rage between good and evil over the lovely Lady Golden Eyes.

Many of the wrestlers have traveled around the country and overseas to compete. You may even see a few show up on TV with the WWE.

Wrestler David Mercury, aka Thee Technical Alchemist, says his fascination with wrestling began when he was a kid.

“There is no other feeling in the world like stepping into the ring,” Mercury said.

More than 20 wrestlers pack each dinner theater performance with action and suspense. You can see them take the ring on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
