Early morning fire damages Clearwater office

CLEARWATER, Fla. (FOX 13) - Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Clearwater early Wednesday morning.

The fire occurred at 1471 South Missouri Avenue and is described as a “commercial” structure, but it appears to be a law firm office. Units arrived around 4 a.m. and found heavy smoke and fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
