Man hospitalized after Clearwater shooting
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Pinellas County deputies responded to a shooting that left a man seriously injured Sunday morning.
It happened at home on 64th Street North in unincorporated Clearwater. Detectives arrived there around 7:30 a.m. in response to reports of an armed person.
When they got to the home, detectives found 38-year-old Taoufik Borji suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Bayfront Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains active. Deputies do not believe the shooting was random.
