Weber says a small area of low pressure in the Caribbean will not develop due to dry air moving through. He?s also keeping an eye on an area in the Atlantic that could acquire tropical or subtropical characteristics. Weber says it has a 60 percent chance of developing within the next seven days but will stay out over open waters.
