However, he says some long-range models show that the Caribbean could be waking up in the next 8-10 days, but he does not see anything in the near future.

FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says all is quiet in the tropics with no signs of development over the next five days. He says while there is only about a week and half left of hurricane season, there could be something brewing in the Caribbean down the road, but for the next five days there is nothing developing and no threat to Florida.

Whether it is a police officer, EMT, paramedic or firefighter you think of the daily routine of it. The calls for service, going to traffic crashes and helping people in that way," said North Port PD Sgt. Scott Guzman.

The Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) has set up at Raymond James Stadium, to provide food assistance for to those impacted by Hurricane Ian and who are not receiving food assistance benefits through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
