Grillsmith returns in South Tampa neighborhood

TAMPA (FOX 13) - The local restaurant chain, Grillsmith, has reopened a South Tampa location.

It started in Tampa Bay, spawning several locations including in South Tampa, but it closed. Now it has returned to the neighborhood, just a bit north of where it originated. The chain launched in 2004 in Clearwater.

Grillsmith still offers quite a selection, as they like to say, “a modern take on classic American comfort fare.”
