1 person and a dog die after fire destroys mobile home in Crystal River

A mobile home in a Crystal River community was destroyed by a fire, killing one person and a dog on Saturday morning, according to Citrus County Fire Rescue.

Crews arrived at the mobile home off of N Suncoast Blvd. Investigators say they thought somebody was still inside the home since a car was in the driveway.

The intensity of the fire caused a power line to collapse and contact a hose line, causing an electrical hazard.
