ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - A deadly car crash in Zephyrhills claimed the life of a Dade City man on Tuesday night after he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tree and a utility pole, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 26-year-old victim was driving a Chevy Trailblazer southbound on Lane Rd. just north of April Ln. when he lost control of the car and went off the road.

Investigators say the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
