Dave & Buster's opens first Bay Area location

TAMPA (FOX 13) - The Brandon area has yet another retails draw: Chain restaurant Dave & Buster’s has opened its first Bay Area location this week.

Calling it a restaurant would be misleading.  Think Chuck E. Cheese combined with a sports bar, taken to another level.

“It’s everything under one roof: Eat, drink, play, and watch,” the new location’s general manager offered. “We’ve got a full kitchen, large menu, full-service bar, and over 160 games on the midway.  Plus over 160 TVs.”

TopGolf and Bass Pro Shops are among the other big names to opt for the Brandon area over other trendy Bay Area locations in the last few years.

The new Dave & Buster’s is on Estuary Lakes Drive between Falkenburg Road and I-75, not far from Bass Pro.
