Deadly crash on US-301 kills 1 man, another hospitalized: FHP

DADE CITY, Fla. - A man from Ridge Manor is dead and a Dade City man was hospitalized after a crash on US-301 Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Investigators say an 83-year-old man, driving a Ford F-150, was turning left onto US-301 from Ashbrook Rd., when his vehicle collided with the victim's Kia Sedona.

The 87-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The other driver's condition is unknown right now.

FHP is investigating the crash.
